SHEDL
The primary remit of the group is to manage the consortial purchase of periodical materials and associated services on behalf of institutions through regular tendering exercises and careful monitoring of contracts once these are mobilised.
There is a huge focus on Read and Publish models and a main partner in negotiations of most SHEDL deals are Jisc. The Karger agreement has also enabled SHEDL to work with NES Scotland.
This group meets 3 times a year and current contracts include:

Model: Read only agreement.
Term: 1 January 2022 until 31 December 2024. This is a three-year agreement.

Includes all 27 ASME Journals Online, plus Applied Mechanics Review (AMR), 2000 to present and All current ASME Conference Proceedings, Online 2008 to present.
