SCURL Walk In Access Project

SCURL was pleased to receive funding from the Scottish Library and Information Council’s Innovation and Development Fund for the SCURL Walk In Access Project. Best practice was researched to support resource sharing initiatives through the provision of Walk In Access to e-resources subscribed to by HE Libraries. Mark Glancy, of National Museums Scotland ( and Alistair Young, of the UHI ( were seconded to the project which was managed by Jill Evans, SCURL ( A number of presentations have been given on the outcome of the report and we are pleased to work with our colleagues in SCONUL, SWRLS, and WHELF each of whom are also engaged in Walk In Access projects.
