This group negotiates contracts for the supply of e-books with the support of APUC. They meet twice a year for review meetings with the Print Book Group. There are 7 Lots within this group:

Lot 1 - Title by Title purchases

This Lot has been awarded to EBSCO, Browns Books, ProQuest LLC, Kortext and BibliU

Lot 2 - Title by Title purchase & eBook Collections (Publisher direct via an aggregator)

This Lot has been awarded to Browns Books, EBSCO, and ProQuest

Lot 3 - Aggregated Subscription Packages

Awarded to ProQuest LLC, EBSCO Information and BibliU

Lot 4 - Aggregated Perpetual Collections or EBA

Current suppliers are ProQuest LLC, EBSCO Information, BibliU and Browns Books

Lot 5 - E-Textbooks

Current suppliers are Kortext, BibliU, Browns Books and VitalSource

Lot 6 - Individual Titles & eBook Collections

Awarded to Bloomsbury PLC, Taylor & Francis Group, Oxford University Press, World Scientific Publishing (UK), John Wiley & Sons Inc., Cambridger Unversity Press and De Gruyter

Lot 7 - Individual Titles & eTextbook Collections

This Lot has been awarded to Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Bloomsbury Publishing PLC, John Wiley & Sons Inc. and World Scientific Publishing (UK)

Existing SHEDL Deals - eBook Collections with unconstrained DRM

The group also has exisiting deals from the previous framework agreement which are with Elsevier, Oxford University Press and Springer Nature. Past deals have included Cambridge University Press, Sage and Wiley.
