SCURL Health Group
Weclome to the SCURL Health Group
The SCURL Health Group aims to:
- Advise SCURL on developments and make recommendations on policy matters relating to the provision of library and information services to medical and other health professionals, academic staff and students in member libraries;
- Monitor local Health Authority action plans;
- Protect and promote the interests of SCURL member institutions;
- Foster understanding and cooperation with NHS staff involved in the development and delivery of library and knowledge management services;
- Provide a forum for exchange of experience among staff of SCURL libraries which offer medical and/or other health library services and foster collaborative working where appropriate;
- To provide a representative of SCURL on appropriate Scottish and UK committees as required (eg NHS/HE Forum Content Group);
- Offer to SCURL for approval an annually updated action plan, and to report on it annually.
